Will the Future be "managed" or accessed "mystically?"

Jesus said,

"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes." Mt 6:34 (The Message)

But he also said,

"When it is evening you say, It will be fair weather, for the sky is red, and in the morning, It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and has a gloomy and threatening look. You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times." Mt 16:2b-3 (Amplified)

So, what are we supposed to do? "Mysticize" tomorrow (i.e. put it over into the realm of the unknowable and therefore beyond our rightful domain and understanding) or do we "manage" it (i.e. look at tomorrow's "signs,"  interpret what is likely to happen and therefore make
plans or something else)?

Flirting with death or enjoying the ride?

So, is this pilot dolphin just plain stupid? Or is it confident of its future in a conflictive environment?

What can this dolphin teach you and I about navigating in a whitewater world?

Let me know what you think
